Forest Jellyfish Cutscene Skip

I'm currently working on a low% speedrun (no spirits, no wl) and need some help regarding the jellyfish "ladder" in hidden forest. I've tested that as long as you can skip the cutscene, you can make it onto the 4th jellyfish of the ladder capeless, which lets you reach the temple and continue. The problem is that I don't know what checkpoint in the realm makes that cutscene skippable, which means the run can't continue beyond that point. Does anyone have info on when and how cutscene skips are allowed by the game? Thanks in advance!

P.S. other methods that won't work: Holding a friend's hand: friends are banned Asking for help finding spirits to hold a player's hand: highly improbable from server splits + very loophole-ish Low Gravity Spell: 1-time use items are banned NG+ account that has access to cutscene skipping: Eden has 1 mandatory wl during the credits, which kind of breaks the "capeless" part of the run

Have you tried letting the cutscenes play out, going Home, and then using the return shrine to get back and redo the area? I'm not sure if you need to sit on the temple shrine before you're able to skip those cutscenes, or if you only need to see the cutscenes at least once before you can, but if it's the latter, going Home and coming back after viewing them would probably work.

I let the cutscenes play out, then tried returning home, closing and re-opening the app, and leaving the area via another loading zone, and none of the methods work. I've already done the run in the beta version via the spirit guidance option by pure chance and went through all of eden with a friend letting me in, so the run is possible otherwise. If the shrine is actually what causes the scenes to be skippable, the run might be killed by a single jellyfish. Thank for for the suggestions though, any other ideas?

The Flapless run for Hidden Forest uses the winds to get to the temple and doesn't rely on the jellyfish at all This strategy is risky, of course, but may be worth considering.

I see! Will test soon, though I’m going to have to find a way to get up to a vantage point and avoid dropping like a rock. Tysm!

Capeless has a totally different physics (you can't ride the wind).

Yep, tried it just now. There’s no ability to glide alongside winds, nor enough air time to even activate flight mode by that cliff side. Been experimenting with the butterflies, light shrooms, and birds on the left side of the path as well with no major breakthroughs yet.

Since this is Low%, it may of course become necessary to pick up a single winged light during the run even for the purpose of gliding physics, but I may mess around with this in the next few days as well, so we'll see what we come up with

low% is useless. last i checked there is no way to clip into the eden portal with normal size. this also makes your capeless run also impossible.

Low% runs will end at the time you can enter the home portal in vault then, or just have a mandatory friend bring you through eden then disconnect. There's no rules nor a category yet, so that can be changed!

I think, using a chibi spell is totally legit here.

I agree with IceWing, the optimal choice would probably be using a chibi spell, though that does require getting a spirit and hoping the rng blesses you with chibi spell first try

Canada

Chibi spell with a spirit might work, and there might even be some way to use a low grav spell, though I will need to test it.
