emulator timing

the emulator that pinkpanther1 is using runs faster than original hardware. this does not effect the in-game time. this is not a problem because place order is determined by the in-game time.

For anyone else wondering:

In-game time will go as fast as the emulator is going, so nothing is affected. So thusly, if the emulator is running fast, so the in-game time will be fast, if the emulator is slow, the in-game time will be slow. No matter what emulator you are using, or if you are using a system, the time will be the same all around. The game has it's own internal clock where it goes as fast as your system is going.

In the previous post with Kusanagi765, He is right in saying In-Game time would be best, because it is easier and because of emulators and what not. If anything the only category that should be real-time and system only is the original mode since selecting parts, mechanics, and music can be affected by the speed of an emulator.

I've experimented with it and I have two runs with practically the same in-time using two different emulators, but one video was longer than the other by 25 secs when it came to real time. This is why emulator isn't a huge issue in this matter when it comes to in-game time.

BTW, Jesse_Porter, nice runs dude Good job. It's great to see another Texas speedrunner ;)
