Hello! I was wondering if I could run this game on emulator and use an English Patch (I own the original game that is now patched but my PS2 is broken and because of that i cant run on there) and if we can, will they be accepted on the leaderboards until a specific time? For example: 50:00

Yes. You can submit emulator run with any time and it will be accepted as long as we don't change the rule. But it will be hidden by default because emulator is much faster to load the game, and the speed is different between PCs (the better CPU/GPU, the faster).

But here is the thing, English Patched speedruns are way slower cause of (Text Box speed amongst other things) and there is alot of input delay. Would people be open to make a category for that or will it continue to be regular any% with NA/JP timing?
There has been no English patched version run, so I can't say anything about making another category for English patched at this moment. But I'd be open to make another category if it is significantly slower, of course.
