I dont know if this is a request or what, but I waited 21 days for my run to get accepted for COD Black Ops. Just found out the game, as well as the series, has no mods at all anymore from what I can see. Can someone explain what is going on? If a mod is needed, I suppose i can do it, but I'm more confused at the moment.

in the end though, a pura/polar with fantastic turbo boosting is better than a coco/n. gin with shit boosting imo, so be sure to know how to boost and where shortcuts and (if the tournament allows them) the different glitch skips you can do are.

for some of them, yes. but overall, they are better.

honestly, prob tiny/dingodile since they are fastest. Then I would guess crash/cortex and finally polar/pura, however I'm not too certain on that. Why is it that you can't use N. Gin or Coco though? If it's just difficulty using them, I would just practice.

blizzard bluff is not aku aku only. no shortcut is aku aku only. Some are easier with aku aku, but none require it.

I would use them whenever you lose speed for some reason, whether it be hit a wall, got hit with an item, etc. Alternatively, use it when doing one of the skips such as Papu's Pyramid. That's my advice at least.

ok, so I go on the site today and found out not only am I now a mod for this game, but I'm the only mod. that being said, I'm going to make some slight adjustments to the boards (Not changing rules or anything, but more tidying things up. Hello. I am asking to become a mod for Rugrats: Search for Reptar. - http://www.speedrun.com/rsfr as the current mods have made a mistake and have not corrected it yet. They approved a run for WR that is clearly not even an any% run, and despite me making a forum regarding the problem, they have not corrected it yet.

you enable it by going to the ps2 main menu (for lack of a better term), and going to version, playstation driver options, and switching from disc speed standard to disc speed fast

I am more than willing to be one if that needs to be the case. If nothing is done within the next two days, I will go to the site forum.

All I am saying is to remove the false WR time from the any% boards.

So someone verified a new WR for any% today, which clearly is not any%. Its just the guy doing minigolf. This is ridiculous, as just reading the youtube title states its minigolf, as does the comment. Im asking that the run be taken down, maybe make a category like the guy suggested, and the mods wake up please. Sorry to be rude, but this is utterly ridiculous.

There are very few tricks to the run from what I remember (It has admittedly been a long, long time). I would just watch World Record and do what they do. The one thing I will say is getting the rocket boost (whatever its called. the color bur that trails you) makes you go a bunch faster. Other than that, I can't be much help sadly. I haven't don a run since, well, whenever my run was done lol.

The reason separate categories was not made was mostly due to the fact that so little of the route would have changed. Had the new gate skip without DE not been found, it is likely this is what would have occurred. With so little changing however, it didn't seem to require a whole separate category.

First off, i would like to remind everyone here that we should try to keep emotions out of this. That being said, I'm for keeping DE in.. I go much more in depth in my pastebin ( http://pastebin.com/i1CB7qav ), but essentially Disc Ejecting doesn't save much, if any time, so in theory, if someone wants a faster time, they would not do it. Plus, the argument that not every version can do it I find ridiculous, as PSTV has much faster loads than other versions, yet we don't time out loads (Im not suggesting we do either, just stating it for the sake of the argument.) As for making it a separate category/variable, i find that ridiculous, as the time difference would be miniscule and the route wouldn't change whatsoever.

most people use controller, except for outback safari where keyboard is much faster. However, some people use keyboard the entire run. If you haven't already btw, I would join the TY discord. people check it more often. there's a permanent invite link in the TY series forum
