AAAAAAAND there are already 3 people asking for their run to be verified. People are monkeys, eh?
I definitely remember reading a 3-games-for-a-series rule at one point.
That rule still generally applies for series that are console releases, but for web/mobile games it’s actually 4 games for a series iirc.
This also changes depending on if the series is just Fangames or just a collage of games made by the same developer.
What game(s) do you have in mind? I’d recommend using OBS. You do have to set up window captures and all that jazz, but it is 100% worth it in the end. https://obsproject.com
Edit:I want to be a Super Mod on a one series but no one be a Super Mod to add me 🙁
Gotta be real here. If you were to be a series moderator, you would probably abuse your power and add a bunch of games that don’t follow site rules. You can’t have Joe Shmoes be series moderators.
Most series don’t need moderators for a variety of reasons.
1 - There are no new releases for a series being made. 2 - The series has a relatively low active player count (i.e. below 50 active players) 3 - The series is overall not notable enough for moderation to be put into place (I.e. web/mobile game series, series for licensed games, and so on)
I highly recommend giving this thread a read, as it explains how series moderation is handled currently very well. https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/zf7up
Angry birds 2.
I’ve maintained a full-game board sweep for iOS runs by a long shot for almost 2 years at this point. Other than that, I’m pretty good at speedrunning, but never really the undisputed best player in a game by a mile.
When I deleted my old account, runs and forum posts stayed ;)
