Hello, since Splits.io no longer works, I wanted to ask if there is an alternative that you can add to your speedruns as splits.

Hi I was about to make a forum thread talking about this too. The site of Splits.io says it will be ending on December 31st, 2024 so I was wondering if there will be alternatives to share our splits in the speedrun site after our submission?

For alternatives, the only one I can think of is TheRun.gg, but I hope speedrun can partner with others after Splits.io ends. Besides sometimes when I went into Splits.io, it says error a lot and crashes so a different alternative for showing splits should be considered.

after being introduced to therun.gg during the ape escape (somewhat)weekly races i like it more than ive liked splits io and do hope they will be the ones to take splis.io's place in src submissions

I have pinged Meta in the SRC Discord about this.

And he responded saying that he had a meeting with the developers about it that morning.

So it's good they're aware.

Also an alternative to therun.gg, is that splits could be directly uploaded onto SRC.

And that a user could choose either or to upload to.

Although, this would mean that SRC needs to parse the file and follow the specification on it. And hopefully not break stuff lol

Before anyone else mentions it, and in case anyone isn't in the know, Splits.io is no longer being shut down, as it's now supported by Games Done Quick.
