Opened new forum due to others containing relevant information are minimum 2 years old and resources within are non functional.

Presently attempting to access any of the downpatches that other users have cited in resources or forums are presently not functional. The mega file in resources "can't be reached" and it says the google files that had the downpatch have been deleted.

Presently attempting to utilize load remover in my case does not pause time during loading screens though due to severe inexperience it's very possible that this is a problem with my split setup and not the program as the only pre-made split I seemed to find was for any% and I had to make my own for All Main Missions. I did follow along with the guide to set up the load remover, but I'm certainly not above mistakes.

Additionally I'm under the impression that although if the load remover begins to work I still have to individually mark splits for each mark/objective in my list as there is only an "autosplit" for any%

Again to re-iterate these problems are all on latest steam patch due to lack of access to downpatch. And I do very much apologize for my lack of ability to solve these problems on my own.

I just checked the Downpatch link in Resources and it's letting me download from the mega. Might be an issue on your end. There's a Discord for Prey speedruns, too, if you want to hop in there and get some help.

Just for the sake of not being an idiot I pulled up the resource link again and it isnt working on my end, still says it cant be reached. To make sure the site isn't blocked I searched and loaded the mega nz home page fine. So I'm not sure what's happening with that.

Sorry for the late response here, SRC didn't actually notify me of a new forum post until 5 days after the fact. I would also recommend joining the discord since the resources there are more likely to be kept up to date.

There are some known issues with the load remover and a few people are trying to work on it when they have the time.

Not certain what repercussions might come from using this method as I'm not tech savvy, but it fixes the "cannot be reached" problem with mega

It's still up in the air with the load remover. But I'll address that alone if it means avoiding the discord. I'm antisocial and awkward, but send them my regards.
