Hey everyone I just saw Pensrock_12's tournament today and thought why not I hold one so I'm starting one. Just for some info: Allowed platforms are NES and Emulator (NESClassic is ok, but this is just Classic SMB1, No All-Stars). And also, there is no registering so if you wanna participate in it just DM me here on SRC or on Discord and I will add you. If anyone wants to request a platform I'll happily add it. And also there is going to be 8 people in it so there will be a quarter-final, semi, and final. Thanks! Also, idek if promoting tournaments is allowed. Wow, I made this thread long.

I'd like to compete but my PB is 5:10 and I die a lot to finish one run. if that is not a problem then last place of your tournament here I go!

I think we should have like "leagues" based on our PBs so everyone can compete and have fun with similar players. Also these "leagues" can be completely optional for the player, so if any player wants to play top runners there will be nothing wrong with that except the disadvantage of major skills.

Edit: Something like based on your verified PB:

Star League - WR to 5:00 Mario League - 5:01 to 5:05 Luigi League - 5:06 to 5:10 Bowser League - 5:11 to 5:20 Koopa Troopa League - 5:21 to 5:30 and Goomba League - 5:31+ or new players.

The lower "leagues" are allowed to challenge themselves in higher leagues of they want to while higher leagues cannot compete with lower leagues because there's no challenge for them in low leagues. This way everyone can play with similar players and have fun or face real challenge from top players if they wish.

Interest has died down for the tournament now so I will start setting up and I will plan a date.
