Clip through door on day 1 (rare glitch)
England

Hey, so I've been attempting to get a good time on this game, and as I was getting a baseline time (hence the lack of audio and lag) I came across this glitch which i cant reproduce: It just seems like the door was completely unsolid (thats a word, right?), allowing me to pass right through, potentially cutting out that entire 'look at map and fireworks' bit. I cant reproduce it though. Note that i was having a bit of lag from recording and i was on max settings. Anyway, thought i would post this ASAP :3

Woh... Interristing. Do you play with some graphics modified ?

Alright, I'm going in. I'll figure out if this is repeatable so that Kev can get a WR with it.

@Troufiniou Nope, everything was set to ultra, but it was running slow coz of recording. @pulsedk Great! For more info, I have no idea if my high cpu utilisation caused the game to skip the blocking volume, but if that was the case, then this could potentially be used in other days, or even other doors. tbh ive been trying to find a way to get into the cave early, and if we find a way to reproduce this glitch, then we've got a good chance of shaving a lot of time off! But that's me being optimistic :3 Please post if you can repeat this, thanks :D

@PanfTheVampireBunny also regarding unsolid, it is a usable word but intangible sounds better grammatically and makes people look in awe at your "big words" :)

@Bakonoe tbh i gave up attempting to make people look in awe at my "big words" a long time ago :3

Hey, So I've been messing with this for a bit and found nothing. I've tried lowering my fps down to 15-30 with no changes. I've tried increasing my quality settings + the lowered fps, still nothing. I've tried recording with all these things and no change ( might be because of my i-7). I'm starting to think that this trick is either very difficult to pull off or it was a completely random occurrence. What are your PC specs, also have you been able to replicate it since posting this? (The program I used to lower my FPS is called Dxtory if you are wondering. Or you can use Nividia Inspector)

@Kevbot43 No, I haven't been able to reproduce this, even using an fps limiter and using the same recording setup when i pulled it off. I am running on the uber powerful combo of an AMD a10-5700 with a gtx 750ti. A beast, I know :3 Using my games technology knowledge (trust me, im a game dev :P), i think it was just an extremely rare occurrence that my maxed cpu caused the 'event' for Henry to bump into the door to fail in triggering. I might be wrong, but even if that was the case, then the trick can only be pulled off when Henry collides with the door the exact same time when the cpu lags. very rare indeed (It should be noted that when on a reduced fps, Henry does wobble a lot when walking against the door. not useful, but quite funny to see :3) Im gonna ask some of my friends who use Unity about how collision works and get back to you guys if i hear anything of use.
