I just started running and whatever category I look in the most recent ones are multiple months or years ago. Is Java Edition Category Extensions dead? If so how would we revive it?

Well if you look at the "recent runs" at the left, those are all of the most recent runs, so is not that death lol (they are ordered by submission time)

You could be suprissed still that there was no new run in over 1 month now, but is not realy like that: think that there are a lot of runs pending that wont show there, we know for fact that runs take a lot of time to be verified on this leaderboard So it realy isn't "death" by no means

Yeah, nothing's dead, the verification process for Minecraft runs is just notoriously slow

You can use queue client to see all of the pending runs. I have 4 runs that have been pending for 9+ months. I don't think it's dead it's just that they are slow to appear.

thats why i stopeed spedrunning mods are way too slow
