Easiest way to play D/Generation DOS version on Windows. Includes dosbox-x and batch files for starting.

# Installation instructions

1. Unzip to a folder
2. Copy your D/Generation game files (v1.0) to the "game" directory inside the folder
3. Start playing with dgen.bat

Save states can be saved and loaded with **F11+S** and **F11+L**, and switched between slots with F11+period and F11+comma. See the [dosbox-x docs](https://dosbox-x.com/wiki/#Home#_dosbox_xs_special_keys) for other useful keys.

The game launcher starts the game on **2013-04-09**, which is the date the game gives you the best drops for Any%.

Unzip the archive, copy SAVE.DAT from one of the folders to the game folder, and press Alt+R in the game to restore it.

The previous rules for 100% were a bit unclear, as it stated that all enemies must be killed. That's not possible with turrets, so the 100% rules have been updated to be more well-defined:

- Must collect all items that can be picked up.
- Must secure all rooms that can be secured.
