hi, I have a question, is it necessary to downgrade the game for the jack speedrun ?

On current patch you'll be missing out on bullpup glitch, putti glitch, and a small skip in Triton Flats. Biggest thing there is the bullpup glitch. Without that, you'll have a much more RNG dependent run because you won't consistently have a good weapon to use.
