And the Oscar goes to… To me, the best breeds are Siamese, Siberian and Exotic. Cats of these breeds are highly intelligent, easily follow commands and can be trained. For example, you can easily teach them to "sit" and "lie down." I’m not kidding, it worked for my Exotic cat. I also saw this info about exotic shorthair cats in this article - for those who want to know the uniqueness of this breed. However, they do not like to physically interact with people, and my Ginger is living proof of this. In addition, they do not tolerate other animals. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time with a cat and are not at home for a long time, then this option is for you. However, these breeds don’t accept affection in the form of hugs.
