I see no reason not to do allow this. It's still the same game, just with different controls, which I honestly think should be a feature of the game in the first place.
I meant that your changed controls mod replay won't work in appel v1.4. Ultimately if the mods are fine with it, I'm fine with it.

... If you change the controls, won't pressing "z" pause in your mod, but jump in Appel v1.4? I may be wrong on how replays work.
