Good day ,

I want to run this game on my backwards compatible First Edition PS3 (PHAT) Now i have finished the game and have the secret codes and all. Maybe on EMU / GC its possible but not on PS3. Mashed all the buttons there are and no luck.

I have some idea's for maybe to add an additional MISC. Or maybe change the rules in general. I could not join the discord because of the invalid link. Would be great to hear from you.

ps if i want to play with isildur then i can skip scenes becouse we finished the game in general and dont start a new game.

Hello, Excellent question.

For the glitch to skip cutscenes that is a GCN exclusive as far as we know. You are free to run Isildur on BCPS3 if you so choose.

I updated the link so it should work now. Any other questions you may have you can ask there!!!

You can also run any of the other categories on BCPS3 you are just at a disadvantage due to cutscenes. If you want to be competitive GCN is going to be the fastest version of the game

The discord link on the side of the leaderboard is now updated. What are you refferring to with TLODR? the Discord to the side is all Lord of the Rings games I am not sure what TLODR is

Hi Im not from this speedrunning community but ill try summarize why I'm here, so I run a similar game like this made by the same developers, it pretty much follows the same mechanics, movement, and gameplay style. What I've also noticed is that the game has a great amount of cutscenes as well as the one I'm running. so I can see a pattern, the game I run is pretty underpopulated and has a huge chunk of its time taken up by cutscene similar to these, and I have come here looking for some type of cutscene bypass. So it might not be a perfect match of instructions, but would anyone know or explain how the cutscene mechanics work, how the glitch is preformed or even any alternatives? at this point any information is valuable :) some things you might want to know are..

Cutscenes become skippable once you have beaten that level once. How the glitch works is if you load a save file where you have completed the game, you can quit and start a new game. The cutscenes then become skippable.

The cutscene skip is only GCN viable
