I thought Micheal Chan was banned, but, as I'm sure all of you know, his newest Any% Full Game run was recently approved.
Does this mean that he is unbanned? Will he be allowed to post his other runs?
I'm just curious about this, so mods, if you do not want to respond, I understand. Thanks!
Yes, thank you for asking this. I would like to know as well. If he is "unbanned, " we will see many new additions to the leaderboards.
Agreed, he has quite a few good times! I'm sure that Micheal Chan would like to get back into speedrunning as well.
I'm pretty sure Michael Chan only has to resubmit his rejected runs, as dn_scrtch was the moderator when he submitted them. DemonicSuchi360 verified his fullgame% run, so why should his level 2 and 5 times be rejected?
This might be because Michael Chan doesn't like to include replay codes. I'm not entirely sure.
Btw you can call me Sushi no big deal, and ye I have nothing to do with his rejected runs as I'm a new mod, but I can't confirm if Michael is actually banned.
being 'banned' actually isn't a thing on speedrun.com, buf if dn_scrtch just rejects all runs that i get submitted, i can't do much elsewise. i wont add too much prior runs of mine tho - there's really no reason to see the 50th 18.9 - glad to be back w/ the community tho!
I mean, there's still your 13.5 level 3 run, correct?
Also, dn_scrtch isn't a mod anymore, so the current mods might approve your runs.
Speaking of mods, can we get extra mods? I'm not very knowledgeable at replay codes or appel coding in genral
@demonicsushi360 if you guys want i could be a mod and verify runs like every 3 days.
I know that Luis_sm is already a mod, but if you need more, I'm active daily.
Although, I understand if you don't want me to become mod because of the "auto verification" that happens when a mod posts a run.
@demonicsushi360
Yes, that makes sense!
I was just saying that I would understand if you did not want to make me a mod because that would make my runs auto verified.
I think mods should verify each others runs, as there are three right now. Just an idea instead of auto verified. :)
