Heyo! I recentyl just completed a run that i feel is worthy enough to submit. However all i used was the ingame timer. How would i properly time my run to submit it?
To be honest I just time how long the recorded video went on from when I pressed Start/Restart to when I beat the level I was trying to beat. Luckily we have a really nice moderator who then re-times so you will always get a accurate time when it's on the leader boards.
You can check the category rules to see how each is timed. For example, full runs:
Timing starts upon clicking either "Start" or "Restart". Timing ends upon the start of the final idol cutscene that flashes before your final time screen.
If you don't want to time it manually, you can use LiveSplit and the autosplitter. There's a thread here on how to set it up, or you can look it up on Google, all autosplitters work the same.
