In the 14 captures category, is it ok if I don’t do the capture at the first moon instead of the infinite nut trick at bowsers kingdom?

What capture at the beginning? People still get the first moon on non-1.0... Watch a run

Since the spark pylon at the very end counts as the 14th capture, 14 captures requires you to skip ALL captures that can be skipped. Already 15 capture usually skips the capture for the first moon. Skipping the last spark pylon in Bowser's kingdom instead would be insanity

paintophobia. It is possible to skip capturing the chain chomp required to get the first moon. It is possible on versions 1.1.0 and 1.0.0 (although much easier on 1.0.0. I do not know if it is possible on 1.2.0).

it is possible on 1.0.0 and 1.1.0, i believe there is a new way to do it in 1.2.0.

Skipping that capture happens anyway... It won't save u a capture or bring it down to 14 captures 14 captures saves a capture by skipping the final pylon in Bowsers kingdom using the wet but glitch, this is very annoying to do, so no one has done a 14 captures run yet as they can't be arsed to get it in a run.

I phrases my first post weirldy I guess, I meant "what capture?" as that capture is skipped anyway so there isn't a capture there.

If I am correct in a 15 capture run aren't the captures 1:Spark Pylon in cap 2: Chain Chomp in cascade 3-5: Gold Chain Chomp in cascade 6:Sherm in Metro 7:Spark Pylon in Ruined 8-12: Spark Pylon in Bowsers 13: Pokio in Bowsers 14:Spark Pylon in Bowsers 15:Bowser in Moon Removing the second capture would be 14 captures. Unless you capture something else in a 15 capture run.

14 = u skip the first chomp in cascade, and then N U T past one of the pylons in bowsers
