Flubbed the fire cracker mini game, had bad luck with the jelly ditch section of the beach dungeon and forgot the gold key so had to backtrack, and on top of that the boss of that dungeon didn't go so well. Rat boss didn't go so great and also had a sloppy transition through Dragon Mountain. Final dungeon went well but unfortunately got the instant death glitch on phase 3 of the final boss so had to redo that without enough coins for the Guardian Statue to help with phase 2. Overall still happy with this run, been a few years coming but after kylevilhelm started running the game it made me realize the game had much more room for optimization than I had first thought. With the help of tools over the years, getting a few people to play one of my childhood favourites, and the introduction of Duckstation ( one of few emulators this game actually works on and with better accuracy, input delay and customization than ePSXe ), I am finally content with my progress. I am far off WR still ( including the prior one before more skips were found thanks to peterafro ) but I am happy enough with the work I've put in to finally let it rest.
