I was actually thinking about doing Mike runs, honestly :) Other turtles deserve some love
Personally, I'd love to see other turtles getting more love. But I also think that this would fall in some sort of category extension.
But I'd definitely encourage anyone to make alternative runs like this, even if only for showcasing (this could be a golden opportunity to use the damage values guide to experiment wonky strats with it)
I'd be fine with misc. with category extensions (easy, normal, hard), (Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello). Probably keep it to 1p1c as well.
Similar to how it's setup for 1 turtle TMNT 1.
I would be all for categories for the other turtles as well. I know my any% run for 1p1c was for Donnie only. I've seen other beatemups like streets of rage 4 separate them by character too which is amazing for inclusivity along with getting more people to run the game.
We did a few runs with Hisu as Leo & Mike (no-WW co-op). Since their special's damage and speed are lower, you can't oneshot your way through the levels. Slams and throws become way more important, so it would be interesting as a separate category (maybe as misc. or extension).
This is the last run that we did on Easy, 3 minutes or so slower than our Raph & Don time. It would be interesting to see if it's even possible to achieve an almost identical time as the meta couple, all through the power of slams and throws.
I want the category too, i think it's a good idea for more diversity or runs.
Single: Leo / Mike / Don / Rafa
Coop: Best Character (Rafa + Don) / Bad Characters (Leo + Mike) for example
Due to myself and Spiriax being the only moderators right now for TMNTIV : Turtles In Time the current suggestion for this is to turn in your Leo only / Don only / Mike only runs just like LC has been (Don for example) and once there is an abundant amount of runs we can add the single turtle categories. Until then, it is too much work for only a 2-person moderator team (even if others disagree that we should be able to handle more). Thank you for all the input, now turn those runs in and force the action to be made. Much love Ninja fam!
