Hi! Some help needed.
That's weird, I do exactly what is meant to be done to get the virus orb - well, I guess -, but when Yoshi eats the coin from the dino, even though I rush to the right with Mario, and if his position looks perfect, no orbs appears. Can it be due to the fact I play on an emulator? Really I don't know what is going on :(
I think there is no difference to the glitch on emulator. Which emulator do you use anyway?
Snesx9 allowed version. That's weird, I get the coin correctly I think, but no orb coming. I might miss something.
Could you link a video? Orb will work no matter what emulator you're using so if I can see what you're doing wrong I should be able to help
I could not capture the sound - happens sometimes - but here is what I did : Note that there is the same problem in Tubular ; cannot make the orb appear, even though I seem to do exactly the same things Retrobob does in his "Beat Special World" run. One more thing: it is much harder to make the wings glitch work - to duplicate blocks actually - on this rom than on the mini classic for example. Thx for your help :)
Okay, so Mario has to grab the coin which is on yoshi's tongue before yoshi eats the coin, I'll explain more in a sec
When Mario grabs the coin off Yoshi's tongue, the sprite slot that the coin was in is still "attached" to the tongue. Then when the chuck spawns, it'll spawn in that sprite slot and warp to Yoshi's tongue and get eaten. It's this eating of the clappin' chuck as fire mario which gives you the orb

Cloud does NOT work everywhere. It only works on console and on Bizhawk's Compatibility core, and iirc snes9x v1.51 and up.
