id say time your new "Drift Dash" Tech and the normal racing and see what the differences are.

United States

I timed it against another run with 40% start boost to the first checkpoint and it was about half a second slower but was 1/5th of the bar closer to boost

In some maps I'd say it could be useful, but remember every turn you make is time loss if you're speed running and the time gained from you going faster for longer could result in your car losing control on tight turns after your drift is over. You save more time staying close and straight to the lines on every turn.

i use this strat to get my wr on day drift. its not verified yet so heres link. anyways pretty much what the person before me said ab good racing lines are more important. i found it super important to build up enough for more boosts though

I do think, for maps with little to none corners/turns, using that tech would be optimal, like that map you played there. You would have to play around it by using the tech as long as possible, without consistently and/or greatly losing your speed while doing so. But then again, drifting more does allow you to gain more turbo charge and maybe you could work around that to get more turbo charge, rather than keeping consistent speed

yeah like this doesn't work on k2 at all ur right panala
