It literally says it doesn't apply to VODs.

what i meant by "VODs" here is highlights and some people used it to archive their full streams past broadcast and it's also a feature a lot speedrunners use to archive their runs

@Gamebuster1990 Please learn how Twitch works before spreading misinformation. It doesn't apply to "Past Broadcasts", which are regularly deleted anyway. Highlights are (well, were) how you actually preserve stuff long-term on Twitch. And as it says right there in the thing:

If you are still over 100 hours [of highlights] after 4/19, we will begin deleting Highlights & Uploads for you.'

A truly embarrassing number of people read "doesn't apply to past" and stopped reading the announcement.

we should also consider other websites to allow sharing or runs like Odysee and other alternatives. we really cannot afford to be picky.

i'm also gonna do what i can to archive any obscure or less ran games to try and help out in whatever way i can.

I am doing this too especially for the obsoleted/older runs. As a leaderboard mod, burdening or hoping for runners to preserve their old runs [that they don't care about anymore] doesn't make sense.

i made a quick program that you can use to get all runs with twitch links from a game.

its really bad as i made it quickly but it does the job.
