1.- I've been trying to set up the Autosplitter from the resource tab but I can't manage to get it working. The autosplitter (4.2.2) wont even open since its a .asl file, in the other hand the Chris any% split file will open but wont split automatically. Am I doing something wrong?

2.-Should I open the game first or LiveSplit first?

3.-Is there a way to have LiveSplit open while the game is on fullscreen?

4.- What software should I use to map my ps4 controller? I've been using Ds4Windows but every time I tab out of the game I have to disconnect and connect the controller.

You need to add "Scriptable Auto Splitter" in your Livesplit layout. Select the ASL file that you have downloaded from the resource page. You need to go and make sure that everything is checked in the ASL file. I can confirm that either or works. Just make sure you are running Livesplit as Admin.

I don't have an answer regarding the full screen question as I have had 2 monitors for a while now. I used to run HD Remaster full screen, so I would have my Livesplit on my other monitor. I now run HD Remaster as windowed, so I'm still no help.

3rd party software is no longer needed for Xbone controllers. I am not 100% on PS4 controllers, but here is a video from Tompano explaining how to setup analog skating with a PS4 controller. Just remember to have your inputs showing if you do decide to run door skip.

After testing it out, mapping the controller through steam works way better, now I dont need to unplug and plug the controller every time. And the LiveSplit works perfectly, thank you kindly : )
