United StatesWell, the dev just announced another update, saying there will be 3 more optional dreams added. So of course that means we will likely be resetting that category when that happens. Here’s a link to the info. I may just remove the category until this happens so that we don’t have to worry about it.

well, the dev didnt agree to post old builds to steam beta branch. so unfortunately we will be wiping to keep competition fair and even between new and old times. im including a screenshot of my discussion with the dev for clarity.
i will wait 24 hours after this post before clearing the boards, to give time to see this and share opinions if there are any.
some of the changes include a much longer and involved piano puzzle in the mansion, the mall level you now have to pull the lever, obtain the bear, return the bear, then get the pretzel and return it instead of ignoring the lever and getting the bear and pretzel at the same time, and those are just the bigger ones (the mall one adding at the least another unavoidable minute or 2 onto future runs)
so this game has gotten some big updates since release, making our current times literally unbeatable. multiple puzzles have changed, and some bug fixes have made some levels (infinite shopping/the mall level for example) to be MUCH longer than original. as you can imagine this makes things a little... unfair for future runs trying to compete with these times.
im currently having a conversation with the dev about this and ive asked if they can make it available to download past versions/ down patch via steam but if that is not possible, then the only real fair option is to reset and have us start over on the newest patch.
@vmL im tagging you since you are the only other current runner so i want to make sure youre aware of this.
the "full party" runs can be done with any combo of human/bot players.

You can capture your gameplay by pointing a camera at your screen if you wanted to, as long as you can clearly see what’s happening, it’s acceptable!

yeah event related speedruns are generally a no go because of their limited availability.
i just realized you intended to add up game times of each for the longer run idea, so i honestly wouldnt be into that idea at all. again, you can run whatever you would like though!
the categories are currently being cleaned up, and you're free to run any kind of category you wish, there doesn't have to be a leader board for it. now, if you can get interest into a category like that, then we can revisit it. personally, i dont like the sound of a run like that simply because of smites lobby and loading times, you would spend over half of the run in loading screens and hardware would be a BIG factor in times.
