The ring packs before the second item box HAVE to be collected in order to gain enough speed to hit the tripwire on lap 2. You just lose too much otherwise. It's really interesting.
That aside, this track is really annoying at high speeds and you're incredibly accident-prone starting from lap 3. It's like Pico Park but now your traction is all fucky thanks to the forced offroad. At least I got to parry a tree which was pretty funny.

in the past, the input display was just a suggestion and not a requirement, but due to recent developments in TAS recording, we have decided to make them mandatory for all runs from here on out
if you aren't sure how to enable it: user profiles -> accessibility -> input display on
