It's a bit strange, this game doesn't have any runs, resources or guides, i wanted to know what is this game and why no one runs it.
Hi Manoel, all I can guess at is that G.U Last Recode is the more accessible version to play and that G.U. speedrunning never really picked up until Last Recode came out. It's an RPG, part of a series. Had a somewhat mixed reception on release.
It can be done much shorter than a lot of RPGs but as an RPG it's still quite lengthy compared to most games especially if not doing NG+, or putting in the work to find glitches for major timesaves/at least a very good route. So it's a significant time commitment to run, even though currently you could just do a continuous let's play and get the WR as there are no runs..
By the way, it's part of an enormous universe but the games immediately involved with the main character are IIRC just these 3:

So if you wanted to understand the story on an initial playthrough I guess at least play volume 1 first.
Volume 1 also has no runs in the Any% category. Only a couple runs in the New Game+ category.
Volume 3 only has 1 run and it's not really an optimized/competitive time. Very beatable.
