Hai, i was wondering if PS2 HDD was allowed ? If so, then what should i submit my runs on ? Console i suppose ?
I'm not really familiar with PS2 HDD, but the general idea is nothing is banned if it's possible without 3rd-party means. Otherwise, generally is.
Like if HG will install/run on the HDD without any 3rd-party stuff, you're good to go. In these cases it would be treated as console. Would be branched in with Emulator if this isn't the case.
I see, then i guess i should submit as Emulator then.
Cos' technically, the game itself doesn't have an HDD Install option (like Outbreak does), i'm using OPL instead.
Or does that not count as 3rd-party ? I'm not too familiar with 3rd-party in general so i'm not 100% sure.
Late to asking, would ESR be considered a 3rd party method? It still plays a game off a disc, but I want to make sure

From what i'm reading, this allows playing games burnt on discs. It's definitely different from any official way to play the game (actual PS2 disc or PSN version on PS3) imo, in fact you have to use FreeMcBoot for it too it seems.
It seems that loading times can vary depending on the discs you're using as well.
Runs using ESR should be submitted to the Emulator category. I consider it an unintended way of playing the game and loading times being different would be unfair to people playing the game using legit methods.
Hello,

- "AI Glitch" is banned from the "Ending A - New Game" category
- New Game runs have to be done without a memory card, this is to make sure that New Game runs are legit and
