Is there any way to do this? Almost all of my other games I can have LiveSplit over the game while I'm playing it but for some reason L.A. Noire completely takes over my screen. Is there a way to have LiveSplit up while playing it on Steam or do I need to have a separate monitor?
Playing it windowed mode should take care of that for you.
In case you don't know how to set it: in the game's launcher you can click options and at the very bottom there will be a little text box for commands. Just type "-windowed" in there and you're good to go. I would also suggest adding "-ignorefocus", it keeps your game from pausing every time you alt+tab or in other ways click outside the game window.
