I want to do a 100% speedrun of the legacy version of Herocraft, and the runs that I have seen of it utilize a glitch where you apparently press the right and jump button simultaneously, then you exit and reenter the game, and when you come back you fly over the entire level...

I have been trying to do this, but I am not being able to do it consistently, sometimes Red Ball even goes to the left. Can somebody please help me? I do not think that I am doing it correctly.

I am kind of obligated to know how to do it because in level 10 there is a weird bug that prevents you from beating the level casually, since when you go down the sphinx it automatically restarts the level, meaning that I have to find a way to get over it unconventionally.

im not even so sure how you're going to the left unless you're pressing the bind for that by accident. the setup is just pressing right and jump at the same time and then immediately right after press the manage apps button. doing all three at the same time will not work. you'll know when you get it when you see red ball hop a tiny bit of distances off the ground. on later versions of bluestacks you can change the key combination for pressing the manage apps button so you dont need to press it with your mouse. for the other kinds of lag launches, remove right for vertical (so you're only holding up) and then remove jump for horizontal (so you're only going right or left if you need to go there)

forgot to mention, if you're trying to get horizontal distance, you need to be neutral before pressing manage apps, so you cant do it while you're already still moving. this doesnt apply to the vertical lag launches. that might be why you're going to the left actually

Thanks! Just one more thing, does it have to be on an emulator or not? I am just playing on an actual android device itself, not on any emulators.

emulator is not required. it is preferred for easier controls but you dont have to use it. hearing that it works on real hardware is good though, cause there was another person who tried on an actual phone but wasnt able to get the launches

Turns out that the 100% category in Legacy version (the one that I was trying to do) is impossible because of level 12 D: it crashes when you pick up the underwater star.

Level 10 ended up being posssible due to the aforementioned bug, but I think that there is no way to beat Level 12. :( (unless you are able to get the star really quickly and not die but eh idk)

This is on version 1.0.1 by the way, I don't know how it is on other versions until 1.0.61.

yes i know its uptodown, but surprisingly theyre actually safe. the record for legacy any% is done on 1.0.15 so you could try that

Just for the record on 1.0.15 level 12 does work and also level 19 doesn't crash when you beat the level, so IMO 1.0.15 is the definitive version until better versions are found (I haven't checked any of the later versions)

If you wanna hunt down the best legacy version you should look for the latest version with the lag launch. I discovered that 1.0.48 doesn't have a lag launch so any version before that is a good starting place
