I suggest we use this forum thread to discuss strats. Right Now I'm re-routing any% so we make use of Meta Knight. I request a mod to pin this thread.

Does the Japanese language affect the time at all? I'm not seeing any places where text would affect the speed of the game. I also want to mention that before the game starts you can turn off display tips and the friend ability movie.

As far as the route goes, not sure yet, still learning the game.

After the first Zan Partissma fight she has some unskippable text Ultimate Choice bosses have less health than normal bosses

For the Longview corridor couldn’t it be done faster by riding a bluster blade Knight since drill stab is a little faster, or any type of curling for the downhill parts?

Also since this is for new strats, you might be able to do metaknight’s fire flight thing that goes super fast in the long corridor. Will be very snug tho. (I’m also deleting any non strat comments by myself)

I feel it would be important to note some of the not so obvious mechanics of the Wing power (while it's still relevant in the run) for people who may not be familiar with Wing from previous Kirby games.

Jump Canceled Dive Bomb: Performed by doing a Dive Bomb (While airborne, ↓ + B) and then pressing Jump to cancel the animation. If you've watched runs of the game, you've definitely seen this being used. It looks like Kirby is doing fast, looped, Dive Bombs without touching the ground. Quick cancels will allow you to gain height with the advantage of being in a damaging state.

Condor Head out of Hover Flap (Flying around): Air dodge (ZR) when flying then Condor Head (Note: MUST have gone into hover from running state or another Condor Head). If you've played around with Wing in game, you've probably noticed that you can't Condor Head out of flying and instead you'll just shoot feathers. Well now you don't have to!

If there's info I'm missing or if anything is unclear, don't hesitate to reach out so I can fix it!

so the "dair" is jumpcancelable?, felt damage was a ton off when doing a co op run with the birdpower, maybe that's the way to go then!

Someone should test if jumping from slopes skips any timeloss on the friend train/circle segments.

Been working on a new route. The new route involves replacing Fire MK with Wind MK by befriending the Burning Leo just before Francisca. Fire MK is a bit slower for the Jambandra Fights but faster for movement.

Coo is useless for MK I've tried taking a Burning Leo into the MK fight before and he makes the fight a lot slower, same would apply with Rick
