Here are some category ideas Unlock All Unlock all stages, songs and instruments
Hecc sorry I've been away for the last week. I've been thinking of Adding a sort of "100% no drumset" category, since the drums are horrible in this game, but other then that I can't think of any other interesting categories. I wouldn't want to flood the leaderboard with a bunch of random and uninterest categories, but I'll do some looking around because "Unlock All Stages" may be an interesting category, as long as we don't have to complete all 4 hours of the tutorial.
Okay I'll actually look into formatting that. I thought you unlocked Instruments after Completing all of the Advanced Lessons, but double checking proves otherwise. The one downside to unlock "Everything" is we do have to spend an hour and a half on the Basic lessons to unlock instruments, but I will investigate in this, probably while at SGDQ
I have another category that could be under ILs. It sounds silly, but I can go grab my stream proof if you want.
Mii Maestro - Either all 5 songs or each of the songs singlely in ILs. It'll be fun.
I would disagree. It actually isn't as fast as you can, as that isn't how Mii Maestro is planned to be ran. It turns it into an endurance run to say the least though. I'm just trying to come up with shorter categories to the game, because the shortest category being ~22 minutes isn't very appealing.
For a SUPER SERIOUS SPEEDGAME like wii music 20 minutes isn't bad, The thing that shouldn't be appealing is the Content of PP, tbh it's a very niche category, and not many people would be able to answer them correct, let along quickly. That being said I have thought about Mii Maestro speedruns in the past, but It doesn't appeal to me as a speedrun tbh. There is still a very hard limit to how fast the speedrun can go, and "Endurance" speedruns are never really fun or popular, also The Wii Remote does not work very well, so keeping a consistent fast tempo is VERY difficult and is more frustrating than interesting. Plus Wiggling the Wii remote at a "Consistent" tempo isn't interesting tech or gameplay, which would make this probably 10 minute speedrun less entertaining to run and watch than PP. I still think this is a very strong contender though, since there aren't a lot of other good options.
Edit: Also in case anyone is curious, PP = Pitch Perfect. People probably could put that together, I just wanted to add this just in case
I’ll do a mii maestro run later, possibly today I like the idea because it’s shorter and it’s It’s silly :p p.s. Gary and Jimmy keep up the great work ?
just did a run and i can tell you for a fact, no one will ever be able to get a perfect time
