i looked up video tutorials and all, but everytime i try my character just spazems out and falls on the floor, i can never clip through

It's a bit tight so don't feel too bad if you aren't getting it right away. Plenty of people struggle with it for quite a while.

It tends to be a bit more consistent if you put your camera at an angle rather than trying it dead-on.

I'm sure you're already doing it, but press Shift + S + Space all at the same time

Some runners like to lag, swearing it makes it more consistent, but for others it messes with the timing and they just don't do it

ill keep trying but i doubt ill get much further

I press it in the order of S -> Space -> Shift, probably on consecutive frames, but I do not think that it is that precise. This order seems to work for me almost 100% of the time.
