I think that you are only allowed to do the runs in Pin only and nothing else. It is also like in South America - Pin
It is something like this right here. There are some other Categories for these right here. But, it is more familiar with Pin instead of the other ones.
They do use Real Time. They use a program called, YT-Frame-Timer This is very helpful with other runs in other games also. Like, Racing or any other game that allows you to calculate IGT and RTA times.
You have to complete every map on a certain continent. So if you were to do South America you would have to do every single South America map and get 100%. There is an option of doing it in every game mode so you can do type.
