Is the sega genesis collection allowed? I would love to run this game but i do t own a genesis or am able to get the game on any of the other listed platforms.

UPDATE: I now realize emulators are allowed (how I didnt before, idk) but my question still stands

I asked this about a year ago in the discord and I was told this:

"It'll be valid, for sure! The thing is that the Classic Collection's version is the american one. Dunno if it has any big differences, except for the Sonata's mid boss."

So feel free to run on it unless the rules have changed since then!

One collection I know of has the option to choose the JP version of the game. Typically all collections has the game running similarly to the Steam version so as far as I'm aware it's always been allowed.
