I was wondering what it takes to add a new category? I recently rediscovered this game and I would love to submit a 100% run with every clue and every gem collected.
When you mean a 100% run, do you mean a single loop, or doing only 100% loops until you rebuild the bridge?
You'd have to define the rules to remove any ambiguity on how the run should be executed.
I mean all loops until the bridge is rebuilt. Every orange starfish caught. I apologize I am very new to speed running but I could come up with more clear rules if that's what is needed. I was just wondering if it was possible to do a new category and I wasn't sure who to talk to. I tried to message you but my account is too new so it wouldn't let me.

All that would be needed is a set of rules that sets it apart from the existing categories.
The current category "Rebuild Rainbow Bridge" does not include obtaining every clue. What I am proposing is a new category that starts after pressing enter for the file name select, and ends once you leave the last shark screen with all clues, gems, and pufferfish obtained for every loop. All gems must be obtained including the ones in the circus, big fish, and the shark screen in every loop. All clues from every orange starfish must be obtained every loop. And the rainbow bridge must be completed.
Under this ruleset, does that mean if you tangle with the sharks too many times and run out of light at the final screen, and are unable to collect the final gem for any of the loops, your run is invalid?

Be aware that this run is theoretically 2x - 3x longer than my "rebuild the bridge" run. Getting every clue and gem will likely be in the 10-12 hour range. As the only person who has attempted the whole thing in one sitting (twice), I feel obligated to let you know that the repetition becomes mind-numbing around hour 4-5, and your rules don't allow for any mistakes whatsoever. Yeah my first run took like 9 hours lol. I think I am going to stream/record my second attempt on April 4th. I messaged you on twitch. I need someone to talk to and it won't let me send messages on here :(
