Had the chance to play OutRun 2 again at a local arcade venue, and I managed to learn the drift by shifting technique and it's incredible how it solved my issues with Stage 3. Still some work to do on Stage 4 and 5, but I'm happy I don't have to struggle with some of the issues I was struggling with before. At some point I'll update my time and eventually I'll get a full run footage :)
