The game rules state:

No mods unless specifically excepted by the category. Where a mod is allowed, the mod list must be shown contiguously either before or after the run. I looks like daa's run used "UI: Timer, Hits, Depth", But in 'Category Rules' this mod not found. I think this mod should be allowed, but if it's okay, I think it should be listed in the rules.

We will be addressing this in an upcoming forum post, but moving forward any mod that gives any sort of gameplay advantage will be strictly disallowed. Simple things like a UI mod to track whether or not you've been hit/taken damage, or Streamer Wands so viewers of a stream can look at the streamer's wands provide no gameplay advantage so they will be tolerated.
