I'm not sure what would have happened to render you unable to post. As far as I know, we don't have the capability of preventing you from posting. We can delete posts, but that doesn't really explain it here.
Anyway, this practice cart seems cool. I use a powerpak to practice so I may try to load this on it if I get time this evening and try it out.
This is awesome, thank you so much, will be really helpful for learning warpless without having to mess up with so many savestates!
Is there any way to restart a level or could that be implemented in a future? Only if it is not much work (for example, pausing and pressing B could result in a level restart)
Thank you for taking your time on making this tool
Hi pellsson, I finally got around to testing this out (using Version 1.3 which I assume is the latest). This is very useful tool. Here are some things that we'd like changed:
- When you use select when NOT paused to reset a level, the framerule is correctly reset as it should be, but the RULE display still advances, so it is no longer accurate.
- Having select reset the level when not paused makes it impossible for us to set save states (since it uses Select + A) mid-level. My suggestion is to either remove the Select button functions with paused and unpaused, or to get rid of the game reset function and make Select while paused reset the level instead (and make Select when not paused do nothing special so that we can still make our own save states)
Great job on this. Apologies for taking so long to test it.
I have resumed to 8-3 for any% numerous times and it has been correct (matches exactly what I see in runs that make it there)
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
