How is Dragon Skip not a glitch?

Seems extremely inconsistent both old and new and I can't even get a proper launch from the wing. Its obviously very unintentional as a path for this game and allows players to skip the entire last portion of the game. Seems more like a major glitch/skip than a regular one

Some people seem to be able to do it very consistently and it's one of the coolest features in the game.

I don't run this game, but from my understanding it's much more of an exploit than a glitch. You are not really doing anything other than transferring momentum from the dragon wing to your character, it's an exploit of the physics of the game while those physics are working normally, a glitch would be if for example you did something that would catapult you from standing still by exploiting physics that aren't working normally.

The most "glitchly" thing about it is the animation of the dragon's wing tip. This is what allows you to get a ton of speed. If the animation were to be "normal" or slower, you wouldn't be able to get that much speed.

Also, if you "fix" this "glitch", then you wouldn't be able to jump from Drone to Windmill for example because you wouldn't have intertia anymore (that's what happening with the dragon as explained above).

Looking at most top runners, it looks pretty consistent to me not gonna lie

bro, it's allowed just because any % NO MAJOR GLITCHES means everything is permitted other than the roll glitch so that the leaderboard won't be spammed with 30 seconds finishes of the game and you will actually require to have skill in order to be up there, skill not luck.

Only Up Speedrun Verification(s)

Hello everyone!

I've noticed this being asked time and time again, whether it's in the Discord, a forum post here or in a DM to a Moderator on SRC. To answer all of the confusion around "how long does my run take to get verified?", I wanted to make this post regarding it.
