My friend and I have been running this game a lot lately, and after the pillar puzzle the lever sometimes (more often than not) takes about 10 seconds for you to be able to pull it. While all the best runs on here run up to the lever and pull it immediately. Does anyone know a legitimate fix for this?
No legitimate fox has been found unfortunately, after the v1.0.2 patch it’s been broken. It’s pretty much made the game unplayable since. Devs are aware but there’s no timeline to when it’ll be fixed.
This is a common problem that has also happened to me several times, and from what I have been able to see it seems to be because while the lights are off there is a greater chance that this error will occur to you, the only solution I have found is to not go immediately to the lever but wait a few seconds for the lights to come on.
Is there any way to revert back to the previous patch where the lever is more consistent? Or is it not allowed to submit runs on an old patch?
Shusui and I just found out you can downpatch and the game works properly. He's posted a message about it in the discord if you wanna check that out!
We may have find a way to make it work everytime on the last version with clcondorcet. If the pillar is placed last and both players leave the room and look at the lever when the music of activation of the lever starts it seems to work. I don't know if it's necessary to do all that or not but it seems to work so far
