explain further, are you on badlion or lunar? if no, and just regular minecraft, then yes, looking with f5 is allowed

As far as I know, there is no way to locate caves with the debug screen.

What I thought was you were allowed to just hit the button to see what was behind you to load in the chunks you cant move you're mouse. That being said I've never submitted a run where I did that so idk what the result is

I always load the chunks behind me with f5 tho because I have a slow computer and I've never been penalized for that

Pretty sure this guy is just talking about whether he can change to third person and backwards view. Yes, it’s allowed - in fact, it’s encouraged, because it gives you a higher FOV for looking around.

Well if you are in a tunnel and you move the camera to the left or right (3rd person) you sometimes can see behind walls and i just wanted to know if thats allowed

Canada

oh that is terribly not allowed. if it happens by mistake, it's okay, however, don't try to do it on purpose.

@Pooply not sure if the mods are aware, but there’s a glitch with snow where if you go into F5 mode, you can sometimes position your camera such that you can see under the world (to look for underground lava and such in tundras). I’ve done it on accident in runs a couple of times, but I think the mods should add that things like these count as glitches and aren’t allowed (because it’s basically xray).
