Thinking about doing a bloody palace run but I've literally never done a speedrun before so I'm just wondering if I live stream the whole thing on Xbox one twitch and then submit the video will that be valid? Or do I need to find a way to get a timer thingy on Xbox one

That's fine, as long as you can highlight the run itself on twitch and submit that. Twitch past broadcasts expire after a while so we're not in the habit of accepting those. We don't require a timer either since the main timing method is Real Time Attack.

There is mobile app you can use as self-reference but its not that necessary since I can check the run and verify the time.

But yes like cosmic said, make very sure that you highlight the run itself on twitch. Double check the rules before you attempt a run.
