Hey, picked this game up on Steam sale and wanted to look into speedrunning it. It looks pretty dead though. Is there anybody who can help me out with getting the right version of the game?

It's pretty much dead. I did a few multiplayer runs, because the maintenance glitch from older versions is less important in multiplayer, but none of them were even worth uploading. It's also pretty hard to get through a run without a server bug of some sort. But it's a great game, good luck tracking down the older version if you want to run it singleplayer.

I also picked this game up during the sale. I might take a look at it as a speedgame in the future.

I know that the demo is on an older patch, where the maintenance glitch is still present, but... yeah it's just the demo. Your best bet is probably to search for a torrent of an older version.

Since there isn't a way to downpatch the game on Steam, you're going to have to find version 1.37 "somewhere else".

I've also updated the video for the NG+ run Paprika did at SourceRuns since the links for VODs changed a while back.

Hi I ran this back in 2012 or whatever and thought about checking up on it today, I basically quit running this game because the developer kept releasing patches that made the game less and less viable to go fast in. I feel kinda bad that I might have a faster time just because I ran it on a version now no longer available. Not really sure what to say, maybe if the game is finally stabilized people can just agree to run it on current patch.

I'd be willing to make the leaderboards current patch only, but as of right now I don't think there's a single NG run on current patch.
