Been running SSG for a bit and I've noticed that when I'm in the portal it takes around 2 seconds longer to load into the nether than other runs. Really annoying and hoping to find a fix.

get a better pc. mine is fine. all it takes is $1300

@ghoster definitely a hardware thing unfortunately, but the time goes by IGT for main so that doesn't affect anyways so you're good (besides even ~6-10 seconds assuming 3-5 portal entrances isn't that much until very top times

@MooMooRuns you say it like 1300 dollars is nothing for an average habitant lol, definitely would NOT spend that money just for the load times he mentions

I'm actually sitting in the portal for a longer amount of time than the other run (not the actual loading screen), which is causing my IGT to be ~2 seconds higher than what it should be. Watch attached video to understand what I mean (Comparison between my best nether enter and the WR run)

also i forgot to mention i'm running a category extension but that is completely irrelevant to my situation

versions 1.20.2 and newer have messed up "loading screens" like that, try playing on 1.20.1 if the seed works on it

or request a retime because the portal animation should always take 4 seconds
