Happy's has such interesting and exciting gameplay that I would love to practice for an actual run. It's cool and impressive that the game can be beaten through the glitches done in the any% category, but most games have a glitchless category as well because you can always fine-tune the actual gameplay. Maybe it would just be difficult to moderate because they'd be longer runs and this isn't a popular game on the site, but I'd love that as an option personally. I really want to speedrun this game but I'd much rather learn the best ways of completing the game without breaking it because I love the game for what it is. If people agree with me, I think it's worth considering.
Late response, don't even remember seeing this honestly, sorry about that.
If you want to do glitchless runs then definitely do that. We hadn't made a category for it since there didn't seem to be much interest in it. One can definitely be added though!
Thank you for responding :3
If you do add the category, I will absolutely run it. I'd probably do quite a few attempts because I love the game so much and if other people do it then it'd be cool to see other strategies.
Again, thank you for responding.
p.s. your name is peak
Could you join the discord? A lot easier to discuss a run and strats and what not.
We have said multiple times if you want the category to do the run, so far no one has done the run, attempted to do the run or even TALKED about the run. No point in adding a category to the board that will stay empty.
@MildGothDaddy Well iv not seen that but its fine by me il get a run going
hey guys! im really interested in a glitchless run! can you guys make a category before i do a run!?!?!?
Il have a run done in the next few days just working on strats and routing. Personally i understand why it wont be added before a run is submitted but it would be good to know some basic rules like are things like quit outs allowed?
Thats why we have asked if people would join the discord so it is easier to discuss stuff like that. All the current runners have 0 interest in glitchless.
I do not consider quit outs a glitch though, basically just abusing the checkpoint system.
Its been quite a while! I hope you had a good summer and been enjoying yourselves.
