In my opinion I feel like the moderation of this speed running category is a bit lacklustre, the WR blatantly ignores the rules of the category and the moderation is doing nothing about it. All the current WRs of time of writing have broken the audible game audio rule along with not showing the pack they're playing. What's the point of having rules that we're not enforcing.

I agree with the volume rule that has been broken the showing your pack before hand its not stated on the patch combined rules which is why I assume people are not doing it but it seems like a redundant rule anyway because you can clearly see what pack they are playing.

Both are things that increase the legitimacy of the run and are nice to have, but would be unreasonable to reject a run for the lack of. The illusion of their necessity is just to minorly increase the amount of people that do these things, as if it wasn't "required" that amount would lower to 0. Thus those "rulings" are there just to minorly influence the overall state of the leaderboard videos, whilst not being actual real rules.

If anybody thinks that having such "pretend-rules" on the board is idiotic I can 100% see that. But they have served the function well and no ones getting hurt so I never saw much wrong with it.

Interesting then why was my run taken down for not showing pack selection kinda seems like you're playing favorites in my opinion I mean the proof is kind of right there not to mention the rule is pointless give the fact that the main screen sprite right next to the word "pets" changes depending on the pack you have mine was turtle meaning I had the standard pack on but what was your reasoning for that not mattering oh I remember now you can just change custom packs icons to turtle and then you could get away scot free potentially except no you can't sap literally prevents you from doing so but great moderation skills keep it up

I was not aware one of the updates made so that you can't put a turtle, a puppy or a starfish as an icon for a custom pack. The category rules will be ammended accordingly with this new information.
