Zirly's "Any%/100%" Run
Massachusetts, USA

The WR for Any% is currently at 1:07:45 (re-timed from 1:08:00) by Zirly. However, this run follows the rules of 100% and sits on both leaderboards.

Whether the game can actually be completed faster by getting all combos as opposed to any other amount is to be determined, but this is a serious problem that plagues this game's leaderboards. Because of this, for now, I'm taking it upon myself to remove the run from the Any% leaderboard, while leaving it up as the 100% WR.

I think we can all agree that no single run should occupy two categories.

While, by the time you read this, the run will have been removed from the Any% leaderboard, this needs to be discussed among all and any suggestions/thoughts on the matter are welcome, as my decision obviously doesn't have to be final.

I find it weird to remove it just because it happens to be in both, but of course I see where you come from with this

Why can’t a single run be in more than one category? That happens all the time on this site.

Also gotta point out how weird these IL categories are...

If 100% is faster than Any%, I feel like rather than trying to arbitrarily separate the categories, it would make more sense to just combine them—move all the 100% runs into Any% and then delete 100%.

Or turn Max% into 100%

Yeah I dunno how I didn't see this a year ago but even as the Any% WR holder I still completely believe that there's no reason to deny a single run to be in multiple categories if the run fits multiple criteria. Let the run be WR for both categories, it deserves it if it's really the fastest run.
