How to save extra time

Saving time in JWE2 speedruns is the most important thing as most current records are extremely close and competitive. In this guide I will add a few feature you can use in your future speedruns. If you have any added suggestions I will add them.

Building

Building in JWE 2 can shave off 10/20 seconds from your speedruns especially in recent updates. A tool has been added by the devs where you can play several buildings at once by pressing control and right click. This can save off several seconds because you don't have to access the side selection and choice one building several times.

Good time control

Having an idea of what time control you're on at all times is a very important tool. I would recommend using 3x speed anytime except for dialogue situations where you have no control over controlling anything. If you are in this situation use 0.5x speed in order to not loose any cash. An example of this is in the Jurassic Park Chaos Theory where Hammond discusses the park's future.

High appeal dinosaurs

High appeal dinosaurs are always important, speedrunning or not. I would recommend going for high appeal dinosaurs instead of a large amount of low appeal dinosaurs. High appeal dinosaurs such as T-Rex or Spinosaurus are large and iconic dinosaurs that will bring in large amounts of guests, guests bring in money and your rating is decided by income.

Howeverlow appeal dinosaurs such as Gallimimus can be used in large numbers such as 8 to 10 at a time however they bring in less guests and income than high appeal dinosaurs. If you want to use low appeal dinosaurs I would use them to gain a few easy guests to start your park.
