Let's get some stuff out of the way. I start the timer when you gain control of your character, and I stop it when you hit the final beacon on Animal Chin. This run was performed on March 28th, 2015, and is essentially a fast lets play. In this video the last time I got to rank 1 was in 2013, so everything you see is just me remembering how to do goals the way I did them, and secrets where I remember them. That's why you see me pausing a lot, because on some goals I literally forgot the objective. This is a terrible run, and am only uploading it as a placeholder on speedrun.com and as a reference run. With proper routing this could easily go sub 2 hours. Once I have a proper set up I intend to route and run rank 1, but that may not be for a while. In the meantime, someone please beat this (Packle).
